Adventure time!

Adventures with Amber & Kait (see her lovely photos here: www.flickr.com/photos/kaitdowling )! I love these kids. Everytime we go on adventures I keep asking "WHY DO WE NOT DO THIS EVERYDAY!??" And I'm being completely honest, no matter how down on myself or anxious I might be about something, all I need is a car full of gas and good people to keep me company and I feel infinitely better. :)

Carnival!

Me & Jenny went to the carnival & rode on the ferris wheel, which was suprisingly terrifying!

I was really really hoping to get one of those Jamacian bananas, but I it was too pricey to play & I do not feel too comfortable throwing darts about. Maybe next year. Also, I hightly recommend listening to the song "Carnival" by the Cardigans before you go the carnival, it will make you feel like eating cotton candy and wearing a girly dress.

I got a brand new pair of roller skates

I've been wanting a pair of rollerskates for the longest time and I finally found a pair at Salvation Army for 2$, hiding under a million helmets and a bowling ball. They were pretty gross before I cleaned them up, but after cleaning them up & putting on some new laces I think they look quite nice! :D I am the most akward, slow skater ever, unfortunately.

summer to do list

My second role of self-processed color film! It's very experimental--I'm only used to developing black and white film, and I was playing around with double exposures. That, plus the fact that when it comes to manual, I don't really know anything about how it...so...yeah.

Jen is usually my hand model =]
& sometimes my feet model (on Tom's no shoes day!).

  1. Get an awesome bike.

  2. Build a darkroom in the basement.

  3. Make many many trips to the waterpark with Aubs & Matt.

  4. Hang out with/go to concert with April (the last concert I went to was Heart on my 16th birthday. Honestly).

  5. Develop some pigment.

  6. Visit sister in Boston! --McLean & Harvard.

  7. Learn how to play the harmonica

  8. Relearn the flute. Or screw the flute and learn how to play guitar.

  9. Take lots and lots of photos.

  10. Auctions and yard sales with Kendra!

  11. Nightswimming.

  12. $ saving (this will never happen, but I feel better when I write it down).

  13. Start running again!! Sign up for a 5k.
  14. Go camping.
